Most couples put around a quarter of their total budget toward the venue. Our calculator starts at 24% and adjusts with the priority you choose.
How do I work out my wedding cost per guest?
Divide your total budget by your guest count. The calculator does this automatically and updates as you change either number.
How much contingency should a wedding budget have?
Set aside a small buffer for last-minute changes and overages. The calculator reserves 2% by default; many planners recommend 5–10% for larger events.
